Lights, camera, CALL TO ACTION!

Call to action, have you heard of it before? Chances are if you’re in business, then you probably have! After doing some copywriting classes I’ve learnt about the importance of having a call to action anywhere you put content out into the world!

What is a call to action?

“A call to action is a word, phrase, or sentence that encourages the reader to take a specific action.” And it is usually abbreviated to CTA.

Why use a call to action?

Call to actions are used to give your audience the next step. You don’t want them to read your thing without further engagement, clicking onto your website or insert CTA here. You want to give them somewhere else to go, a specific action to further them through your sales funnel.

Lights, camera, call to action?

So, where should you use a call to action? Pretty much anywhere you have your audience reading any of your stuff:

  • Emails
  • Social media posts
  • Website
  • At the end of a blog post

What are some examples of a CTA?

I’m so glad you asked! Here are some examples:
“Comment below”
“Subscribe Today!”
“Learn More”
“Book Now”
“Send Message”
“Swipe up for freebie”
“Reserve your spot”
“Follow this link”

Hopefully, you get the idea?

Whenever you put out a piece of content it is important to remember your call to action, to help build your audience, increase engagement and to SELL YOUR STUFF.

If you have any questions, I’d love to hear them. Leave a comment below or email me
